Robotic surgery is growing in India, catering to the needs of the biggest population in the world! Training robotic skills prior to surgery is imperative, and Surgical Science is an active partner in this development. On August 12&13, 2023, the first 15 gynecologists were certified using our RobotiX Mentor simulator as part of the RoboGyn program, a jointly introduced Indo-European diploma in Gynae Robotic Surgery.
This program is a collaboration of the AGRS (Association of gynaecological Robotic Surgeon of India) and Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery (SERGS). The program is based on SERGS curriculum. Its goal is to standardize the medical training and provide a clear pathway for trainees as well as for surgeons already starting with robotic operations.
