Practice pre-hospital emergency response skills in high-stress, outdoor or field environments. From a car accident to a burning building, train decision-making and patient stabilization in alignment with PHTLS based guidelines.
Trainees respond to high-pressure situations requiring rapid assessment and immediate life-saving interventions in chaotic urban settings where patients have sustained injuries during physical confrontations, which may include penetrating wounds, lacerations, blunt trauma, or combinations thereof.
Learning Objectives:
- Apply clinical decision-making and prioritization skills to manage life-threatening traumatic injuries in pre-hospital settings.
- Perform appropriate airway management techniques in bleeding patients.
- To demonstrate rapid trauma assessment and initial management, including effective navigation and use of XR simulation environments.
