Train in a Life-Like Environment

This module allows the trainee to perform the steps of the intra-operative cholangiography procedure in a life-like environment – from the delicate side cut through the complicated insertion of the catheter into the cystic duct, to the injection of contrast agents. Educational aids include video-based content, interactive visual step-by-step guidance and objective performance metrics.

Learning Objectives:

• To demonstrate control of the cystic duct with ideally positioned clips
• To perform proper incision in the cystic duct while avoiding unnecessary complications
• To practice safe and accurate catheter insertion into the cystic duct
