The Diagnostic Hysteroscopy module offers a comprehensive learning experience across diverse clinical scenarios, anatomical variations, and uterine pathologies. Enhanced by advanced educational aids, trainees develop proficiency in instrument handling while navigating the cervical canal and uterus using a hysteroscope, a camera, and angled optics.
During the simulated procedures, trainees practice visualizing anatomical landmarks, managing irrigation fluid, and tracking fluid deficiencies. They also learn to handle potential complications, such as controlling bleeding and preventing perforation. Throughout the experience, trainee foster a patient-centered approach while developing critical technical skills for real-world application.
Learning Objectives:
- To safely navigate the scope through the cervical canal into the uterus
- To establish uterine distension and left and right tubal orifice visualization
- To achieve a clear endoscopic field while using irrigation fluid
- To accurately identify uterine anatomy and detect visible pathologies
