On December 11th, 2019, Surgical Science was present at the 20th Thai Medical Education Conference (TMEC2019) held at the Srisavarindhira Building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
The conference was co-hosted by the Consortium of Thai Medical Schools and Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hosptial from December 11th – 13th, 2019, to contribute and share the knowledge about medical education to the medical teachers, educational staffs including medical students, and the healthcare personnel. The other objectives are to publish the academic work productivities and researches in the field of medical education to encourage the connection in Thailand and worldwide to promote the medical education network both domestic and international levels. On this occasion, more than 71 medical schools and institutes, and more than 600 participants attended the event. The conference was also seasoned by the reputed Thai and international speakers with numerous exciting topics, e.g., “Practical Tips for EPA Implementation” by Prof. Dr. Ole Ten Cate from University Medical Center Utrecht, the Netherlands.
