#IamFullyPrepped

“Prep” – to prepare (someone) for a surgical procedure.

Training on a VR simulator not only teaches you the fundamental skills and manual dexterity you need for to learn medical procedures but it also gives you the confidence and preparedness for working with your first patients.

Learning with a VR simulator allows you to feel comfortable with your instruments and, through muscle memory, helps you perform medical tasks without having to focus on your hands so you can concentrate on what’s important, the patient.

Watch and read about some of the residents who have trained on a simulator and how they feel fully prepped for their first patient

“I’ve been using LapSim for over 2 years and I think it’s fun. The haptics really help. I have definitely improved over this course and can clearly see the benefits. It’s good to be prepared.”

Lisa, Sweden

Gynecology Trainee, Sahlgrenska University Hospital
