Allow registrars to train actively during COVID-19
According to NHS sources, endoscopy training in the UK has been a cause for concern for some considerable time. The reduction in normal clinical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic and the slow pace of remobilisation of such services in the face of a second wave of infection has thrown the issue even more into the spotlight.
Access to clinical endoscopy lists seems to be a particular issue for adult medical, adult surgical and nurse endoscopy trainees.
