Surgical Science is a leading supplier of simulation software for medical training. Our training systems are used by medical training centres and institutes worldwide for practice, validation, and certification of students, surgeons, and medical doctors.
We are looking for someone to join our customer support team to work with daily support duties, both remote and onsite. You will monitor customer service globally and travel to both national and international customers for repairs, installations and to gain understanding of user needs and expectations.
In addition, this person will work with quality assurance of all our simulators, both hardware and software. This includes carrying out stress testing, performance testing and functional testing. You will work closely with our development team to provide feedback in order to implement improvement areas to meet client satisfaction and market requirements.

This is a full time position located at our head office in Gothenburg with some travelling each month to international customers.
To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe that you are a service minded person with a great interest for IT and computers. You have excellent analytical skills and problem solving motivates and excites you. Your great communication skills enable you to create and maintain professional and reliable relationships with different stakeholders.
Additionally, we expect you to have:
- several years of experience within customer support
- a good understanding of computer hardware and software
- a good understanding of mechatronics
- analytical competence and troubleshooting skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Also, we think it is a huge plus if you have:
- knowledge in cloud solutions, .net framework and SQL and database management
- previous experience from quality assurance work, such as manual testing or automated testing.
